With a career spanning over thirty years, Simon D has established himself as a dynamic producer, DJ, and performer, recording, producing, mastering, and collaborating on countless albums, EPs, and singles for both himself and other artists.
A founding member of Brisbane dance pioneers D-Ko, Simon performed over 100 shows across seven years before forming another acclaimed act, Bri & Si, who have since played more than 125 shows worldwide.
In recent years, Simon has stepped into the spotlight with his solo project Simon D, delivering a blend of electronica and progressive house through an EP, single releases, and multiple compilation appearances.
Internationally, Simon has performed and DJ’d throughout India, Thailand, and Vietnam, and appeared on some of Australia’s premier stages, including the Sidney Myer Music Bowl (Melbourne) and the Big Top at the Woodford Folk Festival.
He has shared stages with global heavyweights such as Perry Farrell (Jane’s Addiction), The Crystal Method, The Propellerheads, John ‘00’ Fleming, Simon Posford, Infected Mushroom, and DJ Krush.
In 2024, Simon launched his independent label Home Hearing Records, which has already released three records. His recent work features on his label, plus Mullum Madness Records, and Nextrax Digital, with his single Sunset peaking at #6 on the Beatport Progressive House chart.
