After releasing Techno(o(on, their first Lp, in november 2024, and a tribute-song to David Lynch in march 2025, french electropop act Death by Selfie comes back with Vampire, a new single heading towards a slightly different direction. For the first time, the song has been written and sung in its entirety in english, without the use of a vocoder. For the first time too, the two members of
the band played synthesizers and sequencers. The bass and the beat sound heavier than ever and the
synths definitely have something poisonous The vampire of the song is no Dracula, nor Nosferatu, but rather that kind of toxic person we all know and who is pretending to be your friend but actually wants to do you harm or manipulate you.
