Zenxith
The Curse Of The Atom

This is the 15th album titled “The Curse Of The Atom”, this was recorded in Zenxith’s house in 2025 during the windy months of May, June & July. The cover art is the elegant June Kenny from the 1958 horror/sci-fi movie “Earth Vs The Spider”, there’s also a song on the album dedicated to her. The album consists of 13 tracks & 3 singles, tambourine shaker throughout the entire album, drum machine throughout, another DIY masterpiece, no label, no studio, no backing yet again, no real production, it’s just DIY! Produced by Zenxith in the bedroom, if you aren’t even producing your own music, that’s a problem! Very lofi & full of jangle, this is a sci-fi indie pop album with many references throughout. It’s also got a few keys on it, which sound very alien/sci-f, a couple love songs as normal, probably the most authentic music being released at the moment, you’ll not see this in stores etc etc, only available here on bandcamp. This album also has a contribution from ex Television Personalities drummer “Lenny Helsing” on track 5 London Town, which is great. As you know DIY is always important for me! Lofi indie pop from the bedroom. Mostly energetic but with a few dark & slow ones mixed in there, it’s a gentle album. It’s completely covered in guitars, perhaps the most guitars I’ve ever added. This album is available on CD only as issue 13 on my own label Salt Mine Records, limited to 100 copies! Authentic DIY! I’m not going into that room! This album is dedicated to 1950s sci-fi atomic age! Jangle pop from the heart! Enjoy!
